This year, 2025, as we celebrate the 140th year of The Methodist Church in Singapore (MCS), it is also the 60th Anniversary of Singapore’s independence. As the social concerns partner of MCS, Methodist Welfare Services is spearheading the social outreach themed "THE HEALING NATION" to demonstrate God’s love in healing spirit, mind, heart, and body through our acts of service and love to the distressed and disadvantaged Singaporeans.
The Healing Nation has two main initiatives:

Pledge 1.4m Hours
The Methodist Welfare Services invites everyone to pledge 35 volunteer hours each in 2025, aiming for a total of 1.4 million hours to serve the community in need. While this movement is led by the Methodist Church, we warmly welcome like-minded individuals who share our values and wish to make a positive impact. This “Healing Time” can be dedicated to supporting over 100 charitable services, SG Cares Volunteer Centres, and church social concerns ministries in 2025 and beyond. Make a difference by pledging and signing up for volunteer opportunities with causes close to your heart.

Families experiencing Distress, through restoring of familial/ marital/ parenting relationships, alleviating debt burdens and addressing mental health issues
Those who are Chronically Sick and Homeless, by restoring dignity, improving quality of life and enhancing health outcomes
Youth and Children, including children with special needs, by addressing the impact of trauma, instilling hope and uplifting self-worth.

Donations of ≥$40 will be eligible for various entitlements including complimentary tickets to The Healing Nation Celebratory Concert (subject to availability).

To redeem your complimentary tickets, please answer ‘Yes’ to the question in the Donation process and fill in the form at the link provided in the thank you email.
Organiser reserves the right to make the final decision to allocate seats based on availability.
Note: Monthly donations will will be channeled to The Healing Nation up to 31 Dec 2025. After that, it will go towards MWS.
